Through out the course of this crazy play, an actor named Gillette invites his fellow actors to an evening at his new mansion after having an attempt on his life by being shot in his production of Sherlock Holmes. Where a multitude of wacky events trickle from a seance, to people find out of affairs, to a full blown murder. After witnessing the murder, Gillette finds it his duty to take the skills that he has acquired acting as the great Sherlock Holmes to solve the case. Where he drags the house guests through his delusion of being a true detective and that he will indeed find the killer. All are in effect until a real detective is shown onto the location, which trigger others to panic, as well as the murderer in the house.
