Taking place in a small apartment in New York, an unlucky software designer, Charlie, gets bombarded by a plethora of family problems. It all begins with a phone call from his sister from Connecticut, asking to check in on his parents. He claims he cannot, due to his work.  Within seconds, he is greeted by a doorbell ring. When he answers, he finds his father with a suitcase in hand. He discovers that his mother and father are getting a divorce. Hilarious distractions occur, in which more family members continue to fill the space in which Charlie lives in, and try to finish his job and keep his family together at the same time. As the rest of the family learns that the small things are what matters within these close relationships and all tokens of affection matter.
